About Us. Water Heaters Are All We Do.
We are a Colton-based crew that works on water heaters and nothing else. Not drains, not repipes, not air conditioning on the side. Just tanks, tankless units, the valves and fittings around them, and the leaks they eventually spring. That narrow focus sounds like a limitation until your garage floor is wet, at which point it becomes the whole point: the people who show up spend every working day on the one appliance you are calling about.
Colton is the right home for that kind of business. The city calls itself the Hub City, built where the rail lines cross, and it is a working town of older homes, big families, and water heaters that earn their keep. The city's own water report puts its groundwater hardness at an average of about 207 mg/L, deep into very hard territory, and hard water is a slow, steady enemy of every tank in town. A local crew that only does water heaters, in a city whose water eats water heaters, stays busy for honest reasons.
How We Work on Every Call
Diagnosis comes first, before any talk of parts or prices. Water at the base of a heater can come from half a dozen places, and the difference between a valve replacement and a new tank is the difference between a small bill and a large one, so we dry the unit down and find the true source before we quote anything. We test the incoming pressure, check the T&P valve, look at the anode and sediment situation, and read the age off the rating plate. Only then do we lay out the options.
The rule after that is simple enough to say out loud: we repair when the repair makes sense, and we replace when it does not. A sound six-year-old tank with a dripping drain valve gets a drain valve, not a sales presentation. A twelve-year-old tank leaking through its body gets an honest explanation of why no repair exists. Plenty of homeowners have told the valley's review pages about being pushed toward replacements they did not need, and we would rather be the company that talked itself out of a bigger job than join that list.
Pricing follows the same discipline. Quotes are written after the inspection, with the full job in them: on a replacement that means the permit, seismic strapping, drain pan, expansion tank where the system needs one, and haul-away of the old unit. You approve the number before the work starts, and the number does not grow new lines halfway through the job.
The Brands We Service
We service the tank brands Colton homes actually run: Rheem, Bradford White, and A. O. Smith, in gas and electric, across the common 40, 50, and 75-gallon sizes. Bradford White units come through the professional channel rather than the store shelf, and we handle their warranty process through the trade the way it is meant to be handled. For tankless, we service and install Rinnai and Noritz units, including the descaling that hard water makes an annual job rather than an occasional one.
Servicing a brand here means more than recognising the badge. It means knowing how each maker codes the manufacturing date into its serial numbers, which parts fail first on which models, and which repairs are worth doing at which age. It also means telling you when a heater still sits inside its manufacturer's tank warranty, because a warrantied failure should be claimed rather than paid for twice. That knowledge is most of what a specialist is, and it is why the diagnosis at the start of a call is quick: we have usually seen your exact heater, in your exact situation, somewhere in this valley before.
Where We Work
Our patch is Colton first, every neighbourhood from Reche Canyon to South Colton, and then the ring of cities around it: Grand Terrace, San Bernardino, Rialto, and Bloomington up close, with Loma Linda, Riverside, Fontana, Redlands, and Highland on the wider route. The full list, with a page for each of the main cities, lives on our service areas page. If you want to talk to us before a leak makes the decision for you, the contact page has the number and what to have ready when you call.
